“I changed my life with the BBC!”
“A lot of people say, “BBC changed my life”, but I prefer to say that I changed my life, with the BBC. It takes commitment, but if you are “all in”, you will succeed.
The opportunity to participate in the BBC came at a good time. I was going through a stressful change in my life and felt vulnerable. Emotionally, I needed to feel strong and in control of my life, confident in the choices I had made. Physically, I had so much joint pain every day, in my knees, back and even my feet. I could not get up from a chair without pulling myself up with my arms. I felt like 82 instead o f52.
The BBC changed all that. I fell so much stronger, because I am! I have much more energy – I am not dragging myself out of bed in the morning and I am not dependant on caffeine to get me going. When I want to get up from a chair, I just stand up! Doesn’t seem like much, but to me it’s huge. And just as importantly, I feel like I am in control of my life and the choices I make. Emotionally, I am strong and calm. I lost over 20 pounds of fat, two pant sizes, inches all over and even an inch off my wrists!
The program is great because it is individually tailored to each participant. The meal plan makes every calorie work toward your goal. If you follow it, you will see dramatic results. The exercise plan is so efficient, which is what real people need. It was even something I could do on the road in a hotel room. I need accountability because I am great at fooling myself. I like the one-on-one sessions with my trainer, where my food log was reviewed in a supportive way. That is important; you are supported, not coddled.
