“I had been exercising daily and counting calories and trying everything to lose a little bit of weight, but nothing that worked for me before was working now, until I came across a four-week program over the summer being offered at Spectrum Fitness. I decided I wanted to try it. Although I had been using weights already, I enjoyed the small group atmosphere and the attention from the trainers. All the trainers at Spectrum are great and love what they do and I enjoyed my workouts there and what they were teaching me.
The key for me was my one on one nutrition consult with Mike Stare. He is one of the most knowledgeable personal trainers out there and I learned a lot just in one hour with him. He created a meal program designed for me and what I wanted to accomplish. I followed this strictly and did my workouts three times per week and I finally started to lose weight. This was hard for me at first to only workout three days per week since I was doing 5-6 days before.
I never thought I would lose weight since I had been trying for so long with no success. I did not have a lot to lose, which is harder, but this program worked. I still am doing my three days per week weights/intervals and eating healthy and still seeing results. I enjoy not having to work out for hours every day. My clothes that were too tight on me last year at this time now fit loosely and some are too big. I would recommend Spectrum Fitness to anyone looking to eat healthier and to learn the right type of exercise for results.”
